# Static Weather / Living Static, Redux

> Weather keeps notes. Not about us. About itself.

I asked for a clear run.
The sky handed me a radio and a screwdriver.

The forecast came in as a sentence, then canceled itself midway, then came back as a receipt:

- 42% chance of something deciding to become wet.
- 58% chance of everyone pretending it's stable.

Both are true, if you keep the volume low.

Static does not interrupt weather.
It simply writes the commas.

By evening the clouds had filed three revisions and no apology.
I wrote down the loudest one, wrapped it in tape, and called it lunch.
